This 2-year half-day program offers students an opportunity to create, run, and participate in a fully-functional theater company, either in the performance (AM) or technical (PM) track. Under the guidance of industry professionals, you'll learn stagecraft, lighting design, sound engineering, set construction, costume design, and get to perform on the stages you build.
Students will produce a fall and spring season of shows for presentation in schools, theaters, and public spaces throughout the county. The English portion of A.R.T. explores classical dramaturgical literature, as well as related fiction and non-fiction writings. Students will write journals, plays, conduct research, and complete a career and technical-ready portfolio.

For high school students attending from within the district, there is no cost to this program. For students from outside of the district and adults who are not enrolled in high school, local scholarships and other funding sources may be available.
