Automotive Technology | Certification

This program is intended for high school students attending from within the district. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply.

Description

Automotive Technology provides training in the automotive service industry. Areas of study include: steering and suspension, brake systems, electronics and engine performance, and General Service Technician training. Students will learn how to repair and maintain automobiles and light trucks. Instruction includes the use of power and hand tools, and an introduction to welding skills.

This program includes the following credentials: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Entry Level Certification-Maintenance & Light Repair, ACT National Career Readiness Certificate.
