This program is intended for adult students. High school students may be able to apply, as well.
The Commercial Driver's License Class B program is your first step toward a career driving commercial vehicles. This primarily includes straight trucks, though, at the end of the course, students can pursue endorsements that would allow operation of snowplows, fuel trucks, school and tour buses.
Students will learn pre-trip inspection, diagnosing and reporting malfunctions, handling cargo, safe operating procedures, vehicle systems, and more. The course consists of a minimum of 74 hours of instruction including classroom, lab and on-road driving.
This program includes the following credential(s): Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B.
