Health Sciences is a program that gives high school students an opportunity to study medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, and procedures and principles important to health care professions. This program also explores the many opportunities available in health care professions and provides students the opportunity to job shadow in related health fields.
This program includes the following credentials: ACT National Career Readiness Certificate,Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA), Certified Dental Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Certification, Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) Certification, Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Certification.

For students from outside of the district and adults who are not enrolled in high school, local scholarships and other funding sources may be available.
