This is intended for high school students attending from within the district. College credits may be available as part of this program. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.
This program is designed to prepare students for further education and/or employment in the healthcare field. The curriculum provides students with the opportunity to experience a variety of health careers. Students observe and practice entry-level skills through classroom and lab work at Stafford Technical Center and at clinical sites in area healthcare settings.
Students completing the program can become employed as nursing assistants, or continue on to postsecondary health careers. They are also able to volunteer for their local ambulance service.
This program includes the following credential(s): Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA).
